Adam Bates

Adam Bates was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. He graduated from Drake University with a Bachelor of Arts degree before earning his Juris Doctor with Distinction from the University of Nebraska College of Law. Since 2011, Adam has been in private practice handling personal injury issues: motor vehicle accidents, workers’ compensation, construction injuries, insurance bad faith litigation, and more. Prior to joining Mueller, Schmidt, Mulholland & Cooling, he practiced with an insurance defense law firm where he was a Partner representing large national insurance companies and employers. He then decided to start using his talents and unique insight into insurers’ tactics to help injured Iowans and Nebraskans. Outside the office, he enjoys golfing, running, hiking, biking, and spending time with his family and two young children. Adam is and always will be a lifelong Nebraska Cornhusker fan as well as a Green Bay Packer fan.
